Michael F. O’Connor represents employees in all aspects of employment law, including discrimination, whistle blowing, severance negotiations, non-compete agreements, employee handbooks and unlawful harassment. He has extensive litigation and mediation experience and has participated in the trial and settlement of several multi-million dollar cases. He has negotiated employment contracts and counseled employees who are in the process of leaving their employers. Mr. O’Connor also handles class action lawsuits and consumer fraud claims.
Mr. O’Connor has been selected as one of the Best Lawyers in America® for labor and employment law and named as one of the Top Employment Lawyers in the New York Area. Mr. O’Connor has lectured lawyers in the area of employment law for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education on employment law. He serves as a Sub-Committee Co-Chair of the NJSBA Labor & Employment Law Section. Mr. O’Connor graduated from the College of Holy Cross and received his law degree from Fordham University. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. |
