Our NJ Super Lawyers

McMoran, O’Connor & Bramley is pleased to announce that it has achieved the unusual distinction of having all three of its lawyers chosen by their peers for inclusion in the 2006 Edition of New Jersey Super Lawyers and New Jersey Rising Stars.

New Jersey Super Lawyers

Each year Law & Politics sends ballots to approximately 35,000 active lawyers in New Jersey who have been in practice five years or more. The ballot asks lawyers to nominate the best attorneys they have personally observed in action. The nominees are reviewed by a Blue Ribbon Panel comprised of nominees with the highest point totals from each practice area and put through a research phase which includes interviews with colleagues and verification that the attorney is in good standing with the Office of Attorney Ethics.

The candidates are then sorted by geographic location and firm size. The top candidates in each group are selected as Super Lawyers. Bruce P. McMoran has been singled out as a Super Lawyer in the area of Labor and Employment Law for the second consecutive year. In addition, he has repeatedly been chosen by his peers as one of the Top 100 Super Lawyers in New Jersey, an honor given to the 100 lawyers receiving the highest point totals in the New Jersey Super Lawyers blue ribbon review process.

Mr. McMoran’s selection as a Top 100 Super Lawyer appears in the April 2006 edition of New Jersey Monthly Magazine, as well as May's New Jersey Super Lawyer magazine.

New Jersey Super Lawyers – Rising Stars

Law & Politics also identifies Rising Stars - outstanding New Jersey lawyers who have demonstrated superior professional potential. Michael F. O’Connor and Douglas Bramley have been selected as 2006 New Jersey Super Lawyers – Rising Stars. Only 2.5 percent of New Jersey attorneys receive this honor each year. Rising Stars are chosen by their peers as being among the top up-and-coming lawyers (40 years or younger, or in practice 10 years or less) in the state.

Mr. O’Connor’s and Mr. Bramley’s selection as Rising Stars appears in the August 2006 edition of New Jersey Monthly Magazine.
